Bio-Stimulating Treatment
Bio-stimulating treatments are a cosmetic procedure involving the use of specific products that activate collagen production in the skin. By targeting fibroblasts, the cells crucial for collagen regeneration, these injections help to prevent additional collagen loss. Bio-stimulating treatments act as effective agents to fight against facial aging.
WHAT ARE BIO-STIMULATING TREATMENTS?
Bio-stimulating treatments are designed to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating our body’s natural collagen production. Unlike volumising products that provide an immediate enhancement, bio-stimulating treatments work gradually over several weeks to months.
WHAT ARE BIO-STIMULATING TREATMENTS MADE UP OF?
We only use bio-stimulating treatments that have been approved by Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA). Bio-stimulating treatments commonly contain substances such as poly-L-actic acid or calcium hydroxylapatitie (CaHA). Due to the changes in the recent TGA guidelines, we are unable to disclose the specific brand names that we use within our clinic.
BENIFITS OF BIO-STIMULATING TREATMENTS
Bio-stimulating treatments are designed to rejuvenate and enhance the skin by stimulating collagen production. Collagen is an important protein that provides structural support, firmness, and elasticity to the skin. As we age, collagen production naturally decreases, leading to wrinkles, sagging, and loss of volume.
The benefits of bio-stimulating treatments for the skin include:
- Improved skin texture: An increase in collagen helps to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture.
- Enhanced firmness and elasticity: Collagen provides structural support to the skin, resulting in improved firmness and elasticity.
- Increased volume: bio-stimulating injections aid in the restoration of volume loss in areas such as the under-eyes, cheeks, temples, lower-face region, neck and decolletage, among other areas of the body.
- Long Lasting results: Whilst results might not be immediately visible, the results from bio-stimulating injections are long-lasting and can typically last from one-two years.
- Natural looking results: bio-stimulating injections stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, resulting in natural-looking skin rejuvenation.
In summary, bio-stimulating treatments are a sought-after cosmetic treatment, to address the signs of aging and improve the overall appearance of the skin.
