PRP

Alocuro PRP is an injectable treatment where your own plasma is used, injected into the face and other body areas, to enhance skin tone, texture, and overall skin health and vitality.

What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) involves injecting plasma, the fluid part of our blood, into a specific area to improve the condition of your skin. The plasma contains platelets rich in diverse growth factors, including biologically active proteins essential for the skin’s regeneration process.

PRP is derived from a small amount of your own blood that is collected and is then ‘processed’ through a centrifuge which separates the various elements of blood, allowing for the capture of concentrated platelets which are then used for your PRP injectable treatment.

Alocuro PRP verse standard PRP Treatment

Unlike the standard manual preparation PRP kits, the Alocuro PRP treatment device, along with Alocuro’s evidence-based preparation protocol, will ensure that you achieve the results you are paying for.

Who is suitable for Alocuro PRP treatment?

We suggest consulting with one of our Cosmetic Registered Nurses to determine the suitability of this treatment for you.

What to expect during the Alocuro treatment?

An initial consultation with one of our experienced Cosmetic Registered Nurses will be arranged for you, during which they will offer guidance on preparing for the treatment.

Upon arrival, you will be asked to complete a Patient Registration Form which includes a health history questionnaire. Your Cosmetic Registered Nurse and the prescribing Medical Practitioner will discuss your treatment plan with you.

Is Alocuro PRP Painful?

When you arrive at our clinic, your Cosmetic Registered Nurse will administer topical anaesthetic to the designated treatment area(s). The procedure, typically well-tolerated, involves the use of a very fine needle.

Potential Risks and Complications with Alocuro PRP treatment?

From having blood collected to injecting the face with needle(s), there is always a risk of infection, bruising, bleeding, and nerve damage, among other potential risks. However, potential complications associated with this treatment, are very rare.

Alocuro has developed an evidence based protocol that is supported by our highly skilled and experienced Cosmetic Registered Nurses and our prescribing Medical Practitioners.
