Mini Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Sydney
A Mini Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) is a surgical procedure that removes a small section of skin from the lower abdomen. It leaves a horizontal scar, usually slightly longer than a caesarean (C-section) scar, that sits below the underwear line. In some cases, this procedure can also tighten the abdominal wall muscles to address muscle separation (rectus divarication).
When a Mini Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) May Be Considered
A Mini Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) may be considered for individuals who:
- Have an existing caesarean (C-section) scar and would like to have it revised or removed as part of the procedure
- May require tightening of the abdominal wall muscles, reflecting a similar approach to a Standard Tummy Tuck, but with a smaller linear scar
- Have a small amount of excess skin limited to the lower abdominal wall area (below the belly button)
- Do not have any excess abdominal wall skin, but have a full and/or ptotic (droopy) mons region
- May have stretch marks within the section of skin being removed
An in-person consultation with Dr Eddy Dona is required to determine whether this procedure may be appropriate for your individual circumstances.
